LLI and the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival are partnering to bring one of the films that was highlighted in their 25th Anniversary Film Festival last year. “ Bright Lights” is the story of Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher.
As many of you know, both actresses passed away within days of one another after this film was made. After seeing this film, you will feel like you know these wonderful and interesting personalities. The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival has brought economic and cultural benefits as well as nationwide attention to the Hot Springs area.
The HSDFF enriches the cultural life of our community, state and region with its unprecedented gathering of the best documentary films and their creators in one place.
The date of the event will be September 13th, 2:00 at the Coronado Center. Ticket prices are $5 for members, $10 for non-members. We will have an introduction of the picture from Mary Zunick, and information about the HSDFF. There will be a drawing for film passes and how you can get involved in the Film Festival this year beginning in October.
Hope to see you at the Movies!
